The title references a Communist Yugoslav song about red poppies which Maja used to sing as a child. It’s a recurring memory Maja has from the time she and her family had to leave their homeland. Maja sang this song on a train as they were leaving Bosnia and her mother told her to stop - because this was a forbidden song. It's "forbidden-ness" is a strong childhood memory for the artist.
