‘Weasel and His Family Sunning Themselves’ (1990) depicts a hot summer’s day with people and dogs relaxing. The characters are main stays of the beach — Weasel and Oxo, an older man in the flat cap. They lie upon carpeted mounds covering large nets. This work sees the social side of the fishing beach, a moment of conversation. The work is encased by green rope, matching the painted fabric.
